Performance - Safety - Durability

The Martin Collins Group now boasts a total of 21 Polytrack racetracks worldwide and over 250km of training tracks worldwide, and our surfaces have been installed in all climates. No two Polytrack surfaces are exactly the same. This is because each is specifically designed for the climate in which it is located and the level of use. They have proven to perform consistently throughout the extreme variance in temperature. Each and every mix is manufactured to the same specification and therefore the material is consistent throughout, limiting the risk of injury to the working horse in the process.

In-situ stability testing of installations demonstrates product stability typically in the range of minus 10˚C to plus 35˚C without any perceived detrimental effects to the product performance. During periods of prolonged extremes of temperature, the maintenance regime may need to be altered in order to provide the desired ‘going’/footing. This information can be supported by results that were generated through five years of testing to achieve the approval of the Jockey Club (now British Horseracing Authority).

"No stones were left unturned in our selection process. We have monitored the synthetic surfaces on factors such as injury rates, infiltration rates, surface hardness and surface temperatures to arrive at our decision... Polytrack proved to have the edge"

Singapore Turf Club - Mr. Soong Tze Ming, Senior Vice President (Racing)
