Hawkesbury Race Club is a well established racing venue approximately an hour from Sydney and the gateway to the magnificent Blue Mountains It is one of Australia's oldest settlements, first explored by Governor Phillip in 1789 and is now a NSW provincial club and holds 25 race meetings per year. The weather can be extreme - very hot and dry or torrential rain - so installing a Polytrack training gallop has been a god send to the trainers who need to keep their horses in training whatever the weather.
