Nick Collins puts on his racing silks for charity

Nick is taking part in the Prince's Countryside Fund Charity Race on 23rd November at Royal Ascot racecourse. This 7 furlong flat race will be a real challenge as Nick hasn't ridden competitively for over 10 years and it is a totally different way of riding to what he is used to.

He will have to lose 2 stone of body weight before the race and being 6ft 1in is a bit of a disadvantage but it’s all in aid of a good cause.
Nick is helping to raise money for this Ascot fixture which is the biggest fundraising event contributor to The Prince’s Countryside Fund grant programme.
Nick is in training with Ali and Sam Stronge from Castle Piece Stables for this Charity Race. He will be riding one of their racehorses for the event at Ascot and being a competitive rider  will sure to be the bookies favourite.
