Martin Collins Enterprises Ltd are seeking a professional individual who will work as part of the Sales team based from our Head Office in Berkshire. A background in sales with equine knowledge is preferred
As our SALES REPRESENTATIVE You will be responsible for generating sales and have excellent communication skills.
It is a varied role which involves face to face customer liaison, dealing with telephone enquiries, and updating records on our CRM database. You will be based in the UK with some occasional work overseas.
Promoting products based on the company’s directives, to prepare quotations for direct clients, to self-generate sales and be responsible for all aspects of the sales process. This will include managing your pipeline and reporting to Sales Manager.
You will be responsible for weekly and monthly follow up calls. Also attending site visits, undertake general site surveys, and write up reports.
This position will also involve occasional work on show trade stands or exhibitions.
You will be required to support the safe operation of the office and sites, through the promotion of an active safety culture and to lead by example.
Skills and Experience:
Experience of working within a sales team, with equine experience would be preferable for this position.
Strong verbal and written communication skills with attention to detail required. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word Excel and Outlook).
Comfortable handling confidential information.
Ability to multitask and have good time management skills
Determination to deliver results
Able to follow defined policies and procedures
Solid understanding of Health and Safety legislation and willing to lead by example.
Must have a full driving licence
Full-time hours: 37.5hrs per week Permanent (Subject to 3 month probationary period)
