Dressage MasterClass with Carl Hester

Carl Hester trains his horses on Martin Collins surfaces on his indoor and outdoor arenas and gave the assembled guests a wonderful insight into his training methods for all his horses. Using some of his young horses ridden by his stable manager Lucy Scudamore he showed how relaxation, straightness and suppleness are the building blocks for the stars of the future. Other riders trained by Carl Hester showed off their more advanced horses making it all look very easy! And it wasn't just Carl who wowed the audience, Natasha Baker MBE one of the UK's most decorated Paralympic riders gave everyone an insight into what a para rider has to do and how she overcomes her disabilties to compete against able bodied riders too.

Two lucky winners of a competition to win an all-expenses paid trip to the UK run by Martin Collins Australia, saw the mother and daughter team experience stunning hospitality at the Royal Windsor Horse Show as well as attending the demonstration at Carls. Following this inspirational morniing, all the guests were treated to lunch at a beautiful waterside pub to enjoy a lovely sunny afternoon.  The Martin Collins team woudl like to thank Carl and Natasha for their time and making this such a memorable event.
